Job Description

This position in the global marketing team for Alcoa Aluminum supports the team with data collection, preparation of presentations, various project assistance as needed. The role is preferably located in Knoxville, US, but location can be discussed if the right candidate is located elsewhere.  

Major Activities:

  • Maintain the global supply database for competitor intelligence.
  • Manage the trade flow and netback analysis used to predict how future tradeflows will move.
  • Update monthly and quarterly market indicator slides used in presentations to management.
  • Assist on projects such as rolling out customer surveys, commercial IT system testing, various training materials for the wider commercial team, etc.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in business or technical field

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2 Years work experience in a analytical role, preferably in a global company
  • Excellent Excel and Powerpoint skills
  • Strong written and oral communication skills in English, other languages a plus.
  • Analytical mind with a keen interest in improving data collection and interpreting data in ways useful for the business
  • Flexible team player who is not afraid to help out where needed.
