We are a busy, family-friendly optometry practice serving Berkeley, Albany, Kensington and El Cerrito for more than 20 years. We provide quality eye care, eyeglasses and contact lenses and co-manage surgical patients after eye surgery.

Ideal optician candidates are team players who can work with a minimum of supervision. We are seeking applicants who are warm, personable and professional, and who can deal effectively and courteously
with a wide variety of patients.

Candidates must be available to work Thursdays (until 7 pm) and most Saturdays (9 - 5 pm). Other possible work days are Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday (all 9 - 5:30 pm).

The job duties for this position may change based upon a person's ability. There is potential for significant growth depending primarily on a person’s motivation and willingness to learn.

For full-time staff (working at least 32 hours weekly) we have an extensive benefit package that includes paid

Compensation will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
