Job Description

The Akeneo Community Program Manager is responsible for the vision, strategy, development, execution and management of Akeneo global customer and community programs. This includes researching and identifying new opportunities to retain customers, driving go-to-market strategies to build a loyal community, working with product management to influence product direction as a customer champion, supporting key customer engagements, and working with marketing execution teams on product launches, customer adoption programs and product-led growth initiatives. This person must also develop a robust portfolio of strategic customer advocates aligning to Akeneo’s key strategic initiatives and defined sales and marketing priorities. S/he must cultivate strong relationships with sales and marketing leadership, cross-functional teams of subject matter experts and champions to ensure the successful outcome of the overall program’s mission and goals.

How you will make an impact:

  • Plan, build and implement solutions to deliver a successful customer advocacy program
  • Establish and lead Akeneo PXM Pioneers programs (CAB, Summits, Meetups, Unlock, Slack UG, engagement, etc.), content & execution
  • Plan, build and launch a community engagement platform that becomes the PIM/PXM-related place to go.
  • Become the internal champion of Akeneo PXM Pioneers Program, including inside marketing, across the field sales organization and with executive leadership. By being the expert on our customers, you will be advising product management, marketing and customer-facing teams on the development of products and programs that excite customers and ensure that we continue to see increased retention rates
  • Define the overall end-to-end customer experience from a marketing perspective in order to improve the customer experience and drive upsell, cross-sell and customer lifetime value
  • As a product, customer and market Evangelist, prepare and give presentations & demos to customers, press and analysts, and at community events. Introduce, deliver and drive a slate of "lighthouse customer references" that help drive brand awareness and reputation for Akeneo, including social media and customer surveys. Play an integral role in content development and execution for virtual and in-person events, including Unlock, Akeneo annual community conference
  • Successfully deliver and manage project plans, budgets, deployments, and KPIs

 

Qualifications

  • 50%-75% travels

Requirements:

  • 3 to 5 years of B2C & B2B marketing experience building community engagement programs
  • First-hand experience developing marketing strategies and campaigns that have an impact on retention and/or revenue
  • Experience creating content in various channels and formats and measuring impact
  • Excellent writing and communication skills, as well as facilitation and presentation skills
  • Experience with various software applications like Salesforce, Pardot, Hubspot, etc.
  • Tracking success of customer advocacy or community engagement programs, with people leadership experience required
  • Highly flexible, professional, with great presentation skills
