Akeneo’s product management team is comprised of twelve talented product managers and product directors. Our overall product department consists of ninety-five teammates. We value high collaboration between product management, engineering, product design, and customer support.

Job Description

We are looking for a seasoned Product Manager Operations to own Product Management tools (Data visualization with Metabase, Product Adoption with Appcues, Product Knowledge base…). 

In this strategic role, you will own the tools, (built in-house or 3rd party software) to improve Akeneo day-to-day operations, remain competitive, expand competitive advantage, and drive value for the business.

You will partner on a daily basis with Product Managers, Engineers, Data Analyst, and Product Marketing.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with Data Analysts and Data Engineers to build a solid product data analytics culture within the organization and serve our Product Led Growth (feature adoption, feature upsell…)

  • Collaborate with Product and Product Marketing teams to define the right tools and processes to manage first-class product content (Knowledge Base, Product Roadmap)

  • Take the lead on various projects in the Product organization for effective and seamless products/features time-to-market delivery and user experience

  • Define a roadmap to improve Product operations and alignment to organizational outcomes

  • Collaborate with Product Leaders to standardize interactions of Product with internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 10 years of professional experience

  • 5-7 years experience with product management, product operations, or similar roles.

                   - in a multi-product organization

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Top-notch organizational skills 

  • Fluent communication in English (a strong French accent is ok) and French, both written and oral 

  • Prior experience with data visualization and/or product onboarding and/or in-product communication tools

  • Skilled at working effectively with cross-functional teams

  • Business-minded, you tie product investment to business outcomes

  • Data-driven, you like to mix the right usage, financial, or market data, to run relevant analysis and make data-informed decisions.

Work location:

The position is opened in the lovely city of Nantes (France), where the product team is located. We have a remote-work policy, you can apply even if you are not living in the city, however, a regular presence is required (2-3 days, twice a month).
