Role: Environment Analyst

Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain environment configurations, usage logs, and dependencies to ensure optimal performance
• Track availability, utilization, and conflicts across integrated test environments
• Coordinate environment refreshes and test data resets in collaboration with the Test Data Management (TDM) team
• Document environment baselines, access controls, and schedule conflicts to maintain clear records
• Analyze usage logs and performance metrics to identify and resolve environment-related issues
Qualifications
• 5 to 8 years of experience in an Environment Analyst role
• Proficiency in mainframe technologies and legacy systems
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
• Knowledge of environment configuration management tools and database management
• Strong organizational skills to document and maintain baselines and access controls.
Job Description
Business Need:
This position is critical to ensure appropriate resourcing for the successful implementation of CalAIM JI (a 1.5+ year project), which requires dedicated support from Epic-certified professionals to execute configuration, change management, and operational alignment across inpatient systems within Correctional Health Services.
Minimum Requirements:
2 to 10 years of experience with Epic Orders and/or other Epic Inpatient modules.
2 to 10 years of Tier 2 build support experience for physicians and nurses in a healthcare setting.
Full lifecycle implementation experience with Epic systems.
Epic Orders certification (current and maintained).
Familiarity with service/change management frameworks (e.g., ServiceNow, Salesforce).
Preferred Qualifications:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on operational efficiency and regulatory alignment.
Ability to lead meetings, gather requirements, and guide discussions with clinical and IT stakeholders.
Experience in change management, security provisioning, and interface management.
Proven ability to troubleshoot EHR application issues and provide end-user support.
Understanding of Epic testing protocols and upgrade cycles.
Experience working in public sector or correctional health environments is a plus.

Knowledge of:
Epic application architecture and configuration processes.
Inpatient clinical workflows and regulatory compliance standards.
ServiceNow or equivalent ITSM systems.
Project management principles and methodologies.
Skill/Ability to:
Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Design and implement robust Epic workflows and security models.
Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
Prioritize tasks and manage time in a fast-paced healthcare IT environment.
Troubleshoot and resolve system issues independently.
Understand and apply change management and ITSM policies within healthcare.
Work Schedule:
Full-time, weekdays (8-hour daytime shift)
Occasional onsite presence required for project coordination.
