Job Title: Sr Data Governance Engineer 

Location: Durham, North Carolina (Onsite position)

Type: Full time only 

Required skills & experience:

• 8+ years’ experience in Data Analysis, Data Quality ,Data Governance, Data Warehouse/Data Lake in Enterprise Big data platforms
• Exposure in market leading cloud platform, preferably Azure
• Hands on experience in designing and implementing enterprise-level Data Quality & Governance and Metadata Management solutions leveraging any relevant tools or techniques
• Extensive hands-on experience in Data Analysis & Data Profiling Skills using SQL OR Python
• Provide thought leadership, frameworks, best practices, and subject matter expertise to deliver effective Data Quality, Governance and Management solutions to Customer
• Conduct or participate in meetings, workshops and interviews with business and IT stakeholders to understand current state of Data Quality , Data Governance and Management maturity and pain points in support of building a future strategy and roadmap including data dictionary releases, process documentation, and compliance
• Superior communication skills and the ability to communicate inherently complicated technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders of all levels
