Job Description

Job Title: Flutter Mobile Developer 

Duration: 12 months (Start ASAP)

Location: Remote (Must be open to going onsite to Columbus, Ohio post-Covid, 1-2 times per year)

 

Interview with customer team:

  • Validate Flutter app experience
  • Code on WebEx
  • FLUTTER homework assignment

The following knowledge is required:

  • At least 3 years of experience designing, coding and releasing applications for a mobile platform
  • At least 3 years of combined experience with Objective-C, Swift, Java, Kotlin or Dart
  • Minimum of 6 months of experience writing unit tests and/or test driven development
  • Experience building a simple app using the Flutter SDK
    • Candidates will be asked to walk through a simple app during the interview
  • Understanding of continuous integration and continuous delivery
  • Understanding of Agile methodologies
  • Flutter: To build cross platform mobile apps for Android, IOS and Web. This should include from making responsive UIs to efficiently query data and mange states in an optimized manner
  • Native Android and IOS: To build custom Flutter Packages
  • Firebase: Should have experience with Cloud Firestore, Push Notifications, Cloud Functions and Analytics
  • Adobe XD: Should know how to use Adobe XD to use the design file and use it to build the app
  • Git: To manage and collaborate in different projects with the rest of the team.
  • TDD on IOS/Android platforms

Skills/Requirements:

  • Software developers who have Flutter development experience
  • Mobile expert who can ramp on Flutter and demonstrate that ramp ability in an interview
  • Experience as a Flutter developer is preferred
  • 1 - 2 apps on the Play Store or App Store using Flutter
  • Flutter package or plugin on Dart.language
  • Certified Google developer
  • Experience with reactive programming
  • Experience with Spring boot
  • Banking industry experience (+plus)
  • Experience with UI/web development
  • Experience as a service developer
  • Experience delivering enterprise grade applications
  • Understanding of the Bloc pattern
  • Prefer 6 - 7 years with mobile and functional programming experience
  • Full stack application development
  • Flutter framework for the UI

Additional knowledge, skills and attributes:

  • Experience testing with Mockito, Ozzie, build_runner, build_test and flutter driver
  • Experience with ItelliJ, Android Studio or VSCode preferred
  • GIT and Azure/TFS experience for pull requests
