Job Description:
Our client has a need for a senior consultant that has Consumer Banking (ideally in the Digital Banking space) for their business aligned IT Audit organization. The Consultant will need to have astrong technical foundation in Object Oriented technologies and an understanding of cloud platforms (AWS)to work on controls review projects. This organization is focused on reducing technology risk and enhancing the firm's overall control environment by: reviewing and testing I.T. applications, making recommendations to introduce or improve controls; assisting with firm technology projects and supporting senior management in incident analysis and follow-up.

Daily responsibilities will include performing technology risk and controls reviews within a challenging, dynamic, and complex business and technology environment. This role requires interaction with both technology stakeholders and business auditors and therefore a combination of technology skills, business product knowledge, analytical skills and interpersonal skills are required for the position. They will be required to take ownership of the fieldwork testing by effectively interacting with audit clients to understand system workflows and controls.

For this particular area, the ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of SDLC, and how to apply SDLC to technology that supports the retail and online banking business. They should have hands on SQL skills to analyze large sets of data and extrapolate results based on different sets of risk. Ability to analyze the impact and risks associated with making changes in systems on both the technology environment as well as how is supports banking products. The Consultant will also review how code is reviewed and released to ensure they meet the control process and suggest improvements if necessary. They should also understand AWS cloud platforms and what controls need to be in place for cloud environments. The consultant will be working as part of a team, interpersonal skills and teamwork are very important since they approach all projects in a collaborative fashion.

Required Skills (in order of importance):
Consumer Banking / Digital Banking: Checking, Credit Card products, Online Banking, Online Lending, and/or FinTech;knowledge of loans, deposits, and other banking products
Technical knowledge of SQL & Programming languages (like Java/C++) should have some software development experience, and an understanding of AWS Cloud platforms
Audit (or Big 4), Technology Controls, Operational or IT Risk experience is preferred.
Ability to work as part of a team as well as delivery of individual tasks Strong Written and Verbal Communication skills
