Job Description

Airpush is seeking an energetic and seasoned senior-level sales leader to manage the existing Publisher Sales team along with hiring top performers as we scale up across new verticals. In this role as the Remote VP of Supply Sales (Head of Publisher Development), you’ll be responsible for growing the overall publisher revenue across the company along with identifying new business opportunities in the mobile app market and directing the sales team to execute against those opportunities. This role requires a holistic understanding of the mobile publishing ecosystem along with the various technology stacks and 3rd party solutions mobile publishers and developers use to achieve their own revenue goals. Additionally, this individual will have previous experience building and managing a results-oriented sales teams. This role will report directly to the Chief Revenue Officer.

Scope of responsibilities:

  1. Successfully manage, support and develop the Publisher Sales team to reach or exceed quarterly sales goals

  2. Develop a repeatable and scalable process to capture new business opportunities in a competitive industry.

  3. Open up new sales verticals that can benefit from the Airpush suite of ad monetization tools.

  4. Collaborate with cross-functional internal stakeholders. You will be a key liaison between the commercial and product / technical teams at Airpush

  5. Set revenue goals and OKR’s and help the team achieve them, while also iterating on incentive programs that inspire your team.

  6. Optimize revenue among new publishers and collaborate with the AdOps and Growth teams to ensure success.

  7. Provide market intelligence and partner feedback  to applicable internal teams to improve our product offering

  8. Represent Airpush at industry events and conferences and manage our team’s presence at each event

Qualifications

  • 7-10 years Sales or Business Development experience in ad tech, SaaS or related industry, mobile advertising industry a plus
  • 2+ years of Sales Management experience

  • B.S. in analytical, math or engineering major, MBA preferred

  • Exceptional salesperson that can present and connect to all types of client personalities.

  • Strong understanding of how mobile ad networks operate, including familiarity with associated business models, ad serving technology, ad exchanges, programmatic advertising, etc.

  • Ability to intimately understand and articulate technical products and services

  • Creative deal making ability, including financial analysis, forecasting and imaginative deal structures that achieve ROI

  • Player-Coach that is willing to lead by example and get into the details, team player, collaborative, and can establish strong internal relationships across a remote work environment.

  • Strong work ethic and thrives in a very competitive sales landscape

  • Great at networking, opening doors and maintaining strong relationships in the industry that result in long term business partnerships

  • Working remote and / or managing a remote team is highly preferred
