Job Description

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: 

  • Remotely configuring customer equipment (Cisco, Juniper, Adtran, Mushroom, VeloCloud, etc. routers, switches, media converters, SD-WAN devices, firewalls, etc.)
  • Maintaining current templates for the various ISP/MSP service deployment types
  • Providing guidance to IT software developers on template automation and modification
  • Testing customer equipment to ensure feature/functionality work as designed prior to shipment
  • Loading equipment configuration and data elements into inventory and order management systems
  • Performing root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions for on returned/failed equipment and configurations
  • Applying proper security policies to customer equipment to protect AireSpring and the customer’s network from abuse
  • Ensuring technical support, service delivery, network operations, and network engineer are kept abreast of changes made to customer equipment configurations
  • Working with IT SW developers to automate tasks so that work efforts can be focused on complex configurations and improving the overall customer experience

Qualifications

 

  • Work during standard business hours, based on the Los Angeles, USA, time zone.
  • Junior or intermediate level Cisco, Juniper, and Adtran SP/RS certifications
  • Several years of experience in ISP/MSR customer equipment configurations and troubleshooting (BGP, MPLS, ACLs, static routing, PRI, FXS, etc.)
  • Good understanding of software-based interaction and electronic provisioning to ISP/MSP customer equipment.
  • Understanding of TCP/IP networks, dependent public protocols, and topology.
