Job Description

Summary:

 

AireSpring’s Leader of Account Management and Sales Support will define the strategy and lead the operations of these two teams. This position is responsible for defining market strategies, driving sales growth, improving retention rates, increasing customer satisfaction, leading business development, strengthening and growing existing relationships, and managing complex operational issues.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Leading the Account Management team to develop and execute sales growth, increased retention, and customer satisfaction.
  • Leading the Sales Support team to provide support to sales teams with vendor and pricing requirements, service escalations, and orders at risk.
  • Taking charge and manage executive escalations.
  • Establish procedures and policy.
  • Execute strategic and key initiatives that drive cross-sell and up-sell opportunities to current customers, while also retaining customer base.
  • Modeling, identifying, and predicting sales trends using statistical analysis to determine outcomes.
  • Providing functionality which supports discovery, diagnostic and predictive exercises enabling the manipulation of parameters, measures, and dimensions as part of an ongoing analytic and planning initiative.
  • Providing an executive escalation point of contact for Pre-Sales, Sales, Operations, and the Executive team.
  • Working with the business unit Executive teams on strategies and key initiatives to drive business unit growth.
  • Communicating with key customers, business partners and executives on significant issues.
  • Forecasting and managing pipeline and revenue forecasts at the department and team levels.
  • Identifying and resolving all internal or external challenges to sustaining and growing sales revenue and retention.
  • Assisting teams with complex contract negotiations to close opportunities in mid-size to large national accounts.
  • Working with the marketing team to develop sales collateral, presentations and coordinating marketing campaign.
  • Defining, managing, and creating scalable, effective, and repeatable sales processes.
  • Creating a cohesive team by providing strong leadership and engaging all team members, including the establishment of performance expectations and performance management
  • Timely and positive resolution of escalated sales and account related issues

Qualifications

Qualifications:

 

  • Expertise in use of sales/economic analytics with Excel pivot tables and financial modeling
  • 10+ years of Executive Leadership experience at a communications company
  • Extensive experience managing sales and support teams
  • 10+ years of experience in a sales leadership role with proven results
  • 10+ years of experience managing to a sales quota with a minimum of 10 reports.
  • Strong ability to work through problem escalations and manage conflict within departments.
  • 10+ years of experience working with Excel, Excel Pivot tables, sales technology, and CRM’s.
  • Strong executive presence and high level of business acumen.
  • Proven ability to hire and keep incredible talent.
  • Track record of building successful inside sales teams and processes.
