As a Marketing Data and Technology Specialist, you'll help teams around the business deliver personalised experiences to millions of customers by making sure we get the most from our marketing and advertising platforms. We're focused on helping the business transform the way it connects with customer, and you'll have the opportunity to help shape the steps we take to get there.

How you'll make an impact
- Develop and maintain a strong understanding of the marketing and advertising technology stack, platform integrations and data flows to support effective solution design, troubleshooting and marketing delivery.
- Contribute to the implementation, integration and ongoing optimisation of marketing and advertising technology and data solutions that enable scalable and reliable marketing activity.
- Build marketing and advertising technology capability through effective delivery coordination, requirements gathering, documentation, knowledge sharing, training and platform support.
- Apply artificial intelligence, automation and emerging technology to improve marketing effectiveness, identifying appropriate use cases, critically evaluating outputs and supporting the adoption of new capabilities and ways of working.
- Enable audience segmentation, customer journeys and multi-channel campaign activation by providing the technology, data and technical support required for effective marketing delivery.
- Develop and support data pipelines and integrations that enable reliable use of customer and marketing data across the marketing and advertising technology stack.
- Build, test and maintain scalable campaign components and platform capabilities that enable reliable marketing execution.
- Investigate, troubleshoot and resolve platform, data, integration and campaign issues, providing day-to-day technical support to maintain reliable and effective marketing delivery.
What we're looking for
- Tertiary qualification in a relevant business, analytical, or technology discipline.
- Experience with omnichannel communication platforms (e.g. Braze), customer data platforms (e.g. Hightouch), data warehouses (e.g. Snowflake), experimentation platforms (e.g. Optimizely), advertising technology (e.g. Google Marketing Platform, Flashtalking, Meta) or comparable technologies.
- Experience applying artificial intelligence-enabled marketing, automation, personalisation or journey optimisation.
- Knowledge of marketing best practice, data governance, privacy legislation, and customer lifecycle automation.
- Strong documentation, communication, and training delivery skills.
- Experience or interest in solution design, architecture, or cyber security would be beneficial, but is not essential.
- Familiarity with data analysis tools such as SQL, Python, or similar.
- Ability to navigate ambiguity, simplify technical complexity, and bring intellectual curiosity to unfamiliar problems and emerging technology.
