As a Client Executive – Groups and Events, you'll deliver seamless group travel, meetings, conferences and incentive programmes for some of New Zealand's leading organisations. From the first enquiry through to travellers returning home, you'll work closely with customers, suppliers and colleagues to ensure every detail is expertly managed.

About the role

  • Manage end-to-end delivery of group travel, meetings, conferences and incentive programmes
  • Build trusted relationships with corporate customers, understanding their objectives and delivering tailored travel solutions
  • Coordinate flights, accommodation, transport, venues and supplier arrangements to ensure seamless programme delivery
  • Prepare quotations, proposals, itineraries and travel documentation to a consistently high standard
  • Liaise with airlines, hotels, destination partners and event suppliers to secure the best outcomes for customers
  • Monitor programme budgets, manage supplier payments and ensure accurate invoicing
  • Provide proactive communication throughout the planning process, resolving changes and unexpected issues with confidence
  • Work collaboratively with Account Managers, Operations and suppliers to deliver exceptional customer experiences
  • Support on-site delivery of programmes when required, ensuring customers receive outstanding service from start to finish
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, enhance customer experience and contribute to business growth
  • Success in this role will be measured through exceptional customer satisfaction, accuracy and attention to detail, strong supplier and customer relationships, delivery of seamless group travel and event experiences and Contribution to repeat business and new opportunities.

What we're looking for

  • Experience coordinating corporate group travel, conferences, events or incentive programmes
  • Strong knowledge of airline, hotel and travel booking processes
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • High attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure
  • Outstanding communication and relationship-building skills
  • Strong commercial awareness and problem-solving ability
  • Experience using travel systems (such as Amadeus, Galileo, Serko or similar) would be advantageous
  • A passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.
