Looking for a hands-on role where every day is different? Join our Palmerston North Airport team as a permanent, part-time Aircraft Service Agent and help keep every flight moving safely and on time.

About the role

Every shift plays an important part in preparing our aircraft for departure in a fast-paced airport environment. Working as part of a close-knit team, you'll help keep our operation running safely and efficiently. This is a physically active role where teamwork, reliability, and a strong commitment to safety are essential.

What you'll be doing

You'll work both indoors and outdoors, alongside a variety of aircraft and specialist ground equipment. Your responsibilities will include baggage handling and cleaning aircraft interiors to a high standard. You'll also need to be comfortable working in the confined spaces of our Q300 and ATR aircraft. As this is a physically demanding role, you'll need to be fit and enjoy working in an active, fast-paced environment.

  • Be legally entitled to work permanently in New Zealand at the time of applying (New Zealand Citizen, New Zealand Permanent Resident, or Australian Citizen).
  • Hold a Full or Restricted New Zealand Driver Licence at the time of application.
  • Have experience working in a physically demanding, safety-conscious environment.
  • Be hardworking and motivated to deliver the best outcomes for our customers safely and on time.
  • Be resilient, with strong time management skills and the ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.

Shift roster

This permanent, part-time position offers between 36 and 72 hours per fortnight. You'll work on a rotating roster based on operational requirements and flight schedules. Our operation runs every day between 5.00am and 10.00pm, including weekends, evenings, and public holidays, so you'll need the flexibility to work across a variety of shifts.

If you meet these requirements and are ready to be part of a team that keeps New Zealand moving, we'd love to hear from you.
