As a Technical Software Tester you will be part of a team responsible for the end to end testing of ACS’s software platforms. You will maintain a close-working relationship with project managers, business analysts and technical developers as well as driving test strategies, resource allocation, timing and reporting.

You will need to have excellent communications skills as we work with a number of external consultancies. You will also be involved in running business testing workshops and providing help and guidance for the training communications. Our roadmap for the next year includes innovative projects designed to enhance the business user and customer journeys as well as the overall experience with Air Charter Service.

Job Description

  • Experience of working on software, web and / or CRM implementations
  • Experience of working within IT project management teams
  • Strong customer / business facing skills and stakeholder management
  • Experience of writing test plans, scripts, test cases, status reports and sign off documentation
  • Create test plans for unit, functional, business and user testing
  • Ability to work well within small / medium sized teams
  • Organised - ensures documentation is complete, current, version controlled and appropriately stored


  • ISTQB Foundation Testing Certification or higher
  • Knowledge of JIRA
  • Competent in Agile and Waterfall project methodology
  • Automation testing basics Leapwork/Visual Studio
  • Energetic, passionate and driven

  • Strong attention to detail, responsive and adaptable to change
  • Good knowledge of IT development methods
  • Understanding of testing methods, processes and tools
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft core products
  • Competent in Agile and Waterfall project methodology
  • Ability to liaise with 3rd party development teams
  • Knowledge of outsourced and offshore operations
