We are growing our team and looking for an HR Generalist. Your mission will support Aiden's Human Resources operations, including recruiting, hiring and onboarding, performance management, engaging and retaining top talent, maintaining employee records, assisting with payroll processing, and providing administrative support.

Location

Plano, TX, is our headquarters, but our team is distributed across the US because it lets us work with the best people. Some team members live in California, Texas, and New York.

The HR Generalist is expected to be in the Plano, TX office (soon moving to McKinney, TX) at least two days per week.

Job Description

  • Manage the recruitment process and candidate experience by drafting position descriptions, posting job ads, sourcing and identifying qualified candidates, conducting phone screens and HR interviews, coordinating interview schedules, and conducting reference checks.
  • Build processes that will help scale recruiting efforts and manage the data integrity in the Applicant Tracking system.
  • Lead the onboarding process, including drafting offers, coordinating with the PEO, performing new hire orientations, and updating new staff records.
  • Coordinate employee HR initiatives, including required management/staff compliance training and the performance management process.
  • Assist with payroll by monitoring/collecting timesheets, managing PTO, and working with the PEO as needed.
  • Participate in developing organizational guidelines and procedures.
  • Recommend strategies to motivate, engage, and retain employees.
  • Manage the offboarding process when necessary.
  • Actively participate in team planning, prioritization, and problem-solving.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field. PHR certification is a plus
  • 3+ years of experience working in HR, ideally in a high-growth tech environment, with a desire to grow in the field
  • Demonstrated knowledge of HR functions and best practices
  • Efficient HR administration and people management skills
  • Meticulous attention to detail with solid organizational and record-keeping skills
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a drive to deliver results quickly
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Superb computer literacy with capability in email, MS Office, related HR software, and general office technology (Zoom, Adobe Acrobat, and DocuSign)
  • Remarkable organizational, strong decision-making, and problem-solving skills
  • High integrity and moral compass
  • Well-developed sense of humor
  • Authorization to work in the United States (Required)
