As a Sourcing Intern at Agrigate, you will have a unique opportunity to contribute to our mission of empowering farmers and ensuring food security in Bangladesh. Your role will be pivotal in supporting our sourcing operations, providing you with valuable hands-on experience and insights into the agricultural supply chain.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in identifying and establishing a network of agro-processors, oil mills, rice mills, and food industries for robust supplier connections.
• Participate in the collection of accurate market information and samples of agricultural products to support informed decision-making.
• Support the cultivation and maintenance of strong relationships with stakeholders in the food industry and factory management.
• Aid in implementing quality control measures for raw materials collected from farmers and stockies.
• Assist in the registration process for traders and mills, ensuring adherence to Agrigate's standards.
• Contribute to market research activities, analyzing trends, and providing insights to optimize sourcing strategies.
• Collaborate with the team to assist in the coordination of logistics for timely and efficient product deliveries.
• Work closely with field resources to streamline sourcing operations and achieve collective objectives.

Qualifications:

• Enthusiastic students or fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Agriculture, Business, or Supply Chain Management.
• Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and relationship-building abilities.
• Familiarity with market analysis and data-driven decision-making.
• Basic knowledge of agricultural markets and commodities is a plus.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced work environment as a collaborative team member.
