Principal Duties:

As a Solutions team member, you will apply your expertise as a designer to build engaging user experiences and interfaces for client-facing projects and internal needs.  You will have a keen eye for identifying a client’s needs and translating them into dynamic websites, applications, and solutions.  We are looking for self-starters that can work autonomously or as part of a team as required.  Seamlessly shifting between development and design will be crucial to your success in this position.  We will also look to you to identify new technologies that can advance the organization’s abilities and apply new efficiencies for your work efforts and the entire team.  Our ultimate goal is to groom well-versed UI/UX Designers towards an eventual transition into a leadership role within AgileSRC.

Responsibilities:

• Work on design projects across the entire product lifecycle and multiple product launches
• Operate in a highly collaborative cross-functional environment where you will work closely with developers to work on ideas, prototype, execute, and deliver functional designs
• Work with small multi-disciplinary teams solving problems and coming up with solutions that apply perfect attention to detail and delight our clients
• Be autonomous. You’ll take full ownership of your work, and you take responsibility for every detail, every step of the way
• Provide ongoing development support to our internal team and client base

Qualifications:

• Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Design with an emphasis on Computer Science knowledge (or similar) or equivalent technical experience (4+ years)
• The ability to function within UNIX/Linux server environments as an admin
• Detail-oriented team player with the ability to work independently
• Understanding and experience with the Agile Software Development Process
• US Citizen or US Permanent Resident is required. The ability to sponsor a visa is not available for this role.

Ability to demonstrate solid skills in one or more of the following:

• ReactJS/Redux
• Python
• CSS/SAS and HTML
• Web services and RESTful APIs
• Code versioning tools (GIT)
• JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model
• AWS
• Experience with Figma, Adobe XD, or similar tools
• Creation of Wireframes
