About what we are looking for in a Software Developer with a Simulation background:

PRINCIPAL DUTIES:

The role requires solid experience in Software Development with a concentration in C++ and a proven track record with modern gaming engines that drive advanced simulations. 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (or similar) or equivalent technical experience

  • Self-starter and excellent problem solver

  • Advanced knowledge of C++ and Unreal Engine

  • Strong math, and computer graphics knowledge

  • Detail-oriented team player with the ability to work independently with little supervision

  • Understanding and experience with the Agile Software Development Process

  • The ability to adapt quickly to changing circumstances and work priorities in a timely manner is necessary

  • US Citizen or US Permanent Resident is required. The ability to sponsor a visa is not available for this role.

 

Preferred but not required:

  • Experience with shaders and IG development

Nice to have:

  • 3D modeling experience

Ability to demonstrate solid skills in one or more of the following:

  • C++ (and C is a plus)

  • Java

  • Python

  • JavaScript / NodeJS
