HOW YOU FIT:

You are an experienced Senior Messaging Engineer that has designed, deployed, integrated, maintained, and migrated messaging platforms. You have a passion for working with the latest technologies, loves to solve problems, focused on delivering solutions that solve customers' business challenges, and thrives in a team environment. 

Senior Microsoft 365 Messaging Engineer understands that messaging solutions (on-premises Exchange Server, Google Mail, Microsoft 365, etc.) require planning and implementation of identity, security, compliance requirements, and often include other data such as file.  This role requires inquisitiveness and diligence to evaluate the customers existing environment and their business objectives. It's up to Agile IT to express the right path forward that often requires challenging the customer to further transform their business.

Communication is key to life and it certainly is at Agile IT. Documentation is also vital in planning and communicating with peers and customers.  This can include documentation within Word, PowerPoint, Visio or using Power BI and PowerShell to capture/document systems.  Agile IT invests heavily in using or building tools to accomplish greater results with less manual steps. All that said, it still always starts and end with great communication and documentation.  We're the best at!

WHAT YOU DO:

• Audit and assess existing messaging infrastructure for preparation to Microsoft 365/Exchange Online
• Define solutions that aligns with the customer’s business needs and requirements (discuss benefits and risks)
• Perform mail migrations from source (Exchange, Google, Microsoft 365) to Microsoft 365/Exchange Online
• Create and configuration Office 365 as a source location based on patterns and practices defined by Agile IT
• Deploy and configure Microsoft 365 services based on Agile IT processes and automation that includes Azure Active Directory, Exchange Online, Enterprise Mobility + Security (EMS), Intune, etc.
• Create detailed project technical implementation plans per project that include how other engineering resources will participate
• Provide technical guidance and escalation support for engineers within Agile IT regardless if they're on your direct project

• Minimum of 8 years of IT experiences managing and administering Active Directory/Messaging environment (with 4+ years of relevant experience in Messaging: Exchange/O365)
• Well-versed with Azure AD and Azure Premium features and functionalities, including (but not limited to) AIP, IRM, App registrations, SCIM provisioning, MFA, etc.
• Strong scripting skills in two or more of the following: Powershell, Bash, Rest API, JSON
• Experience with large Enterprises, including AD/Email deployments, upgrades and migrations
• Well-versed with Azure AD and Azure Premium features and functionalities, including (but not limited to) AIP, IRM, App registrations, SCIM provisioning, MFA, etc.
• Advanced detailed knowledge in AD architecture and infrastructure (LDAP, Directory Replication, group policy, security, schema changes, etc.)
• eDiscovery, legal hold, Spam filters, third party archives, Exchange clustering, local AD strong skills
• Common Messaging Technologies and Standards: DNS, SMTP, SSL/TLS, SPF/DKIM/DMARC, and Mail flow
• Microsoft Office client deployment/configuration, profiles, and troubleshooting
• Microsoft Outlook core components: Auto discovery, PST, OST, GAL
• Windows client deployment, operations, and troubleshooting

• Active Directory migration projects including ADMT migrations, AD LDS, and LDAP 
• SAML 2.0 and cloud SSO providers such as Azure AD Premium, Okta, or ADFS 
• Configure Exchange Hybrid and integrate third-party applications into mail flow 

THE FINE PRINT:

Must have valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for occasional work offsite.
