Job Description

The Project Manager will provide the requisite management and oversight of the A3T team supporting all aspects of the Network Enterprise Center (NEC) supporting the NIPR/SIPR Systems, Network and IA functions. The PM will ensure situational awareness is maintained with the corporate management team and will act as the primary representative for the company on client site. The successful candidate will ensure all administrative services, quality & financial control and performance are accomplished through the application of advanced IT principles and provided in accordance with the standards, regulations and policy of the Department of Army (DA), MACOM and the Network Enterprise Center (NEC). Additional duties include, but may not be limited to:


  • Ensuring all staff:
  1. complete the required Department of Defense training modules
  2. maintain compliance with DoD 8570.01-M and AR-2 certification requirements to include operating system specific certifications
  3. sufficiently cover the normal hours of operation M-F as well as supporting contingency operations outside of normal hours on an as needed basis
  • Participate in the Phase in process during contract initiation
  • Ensure vacancy rates are controlled to never exceed 10%
  • Development of C&A Documentation
  • Ensuring active participation in and adherence to the Configuration Control Board (CCB), Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) and Army IA best practices.
  • Development and delivery of periodic status reports with 100% accuracy
  • Development, Implementation and subsequent delivery of Project Management Plans
  • Ensure Individuals filling positions identified as IT Level I or II (IT-I or IT-II) must attend the Systems Administrator (SA)/Network Management (NM) Security (Technical Level II) Course at Ft. Gordon, GA, or at an accredited ―mirror‖ training site within six months of assuming the position. Admission to this training requires satisfactory completion of both the Information Assurance Security Officer (IASO) Management Level I and Information Assurance Technical Level I courses.

Must have demonstrated Network Enterprise Center (NEC) management experience and knowledge of Dept. of Army (CIO/G6) policies, Host Based Security System (HBSS), Cisco Network Infrastructures, Information Assurance and IAVA database compliance.



Qualifications

  • MUST BE A US CITIZEN
  • Must have an active Secret Clearance
  • Must understand, speak, read and write the English language
  • Must be PMI Project Management Professional (PMP) certified.
  • Must have current DoD 8570.01–M certification(s)
  • Bachelors degree in Information Technology or equivalent discipline
