Job Description

  • Analyze Engineering and Technical Capabilities processes, documents, and briefings on topics such as Network and Platform System of Systems Integration requirements, Capability Sets (CS), and Army Modernization Plans to provide long and short range planning support to the Army’s Modernization processes.
  • Consolidate subject matter expert information and recommendations for hardware and software data relative to the Army’s Modernization Plan.
  • Provide analytical support for the interim and regular CS design reviews convened to support network integration efforts in laboratory and field environments.
  • Collect and consolidate information to support analysis leading to the fielding of capabilities.
  • Make recommendations to the Government on policies, procedures, techniques, proposed changes, and integration requirements using established criteria from a System of Systems (SoS) level to ensure that cost, schedule, and performance requirements are satisfied.
  • Represent the EPSI Division in Government working groups, integrated product teams and other planning meetings in support of the mission. When attending meetings the contractor shall represent the leadership’s position and provide feedback and recommendations. The contractor shall provide executive level summaries of task assignments and meetings attended and shall deliver to the EPSI leadership POC. 
  • Prepare briefing charts, documents and materials that address process, planning, budget, test, logistics, program management, and acquisition decisions. Prepare meeting material for and attend weekly meetings, program reviews, and off site meetings. 
  • Provide written and verbal reports and briefings required to support ESPI mission. All briefings and positional correspondence shall be reviewed and approved by leadership before being presented and distributed.
  • Provide technical support and perform planning analysis in support of the Army Modernization Plan primarily in the area of Tactical Communication Systems (i.e soldier used radios, command post equipment, in-the-field networks and the waveforms utilized). Align internal and external efforts with the program schedules and provide recommendations related to schedule impacts, delivery timelines, and event execution to leadership.
  • Serve as an Subject Matter Expert and shall, provide analysis and communicate the requirements for individual and interdependent program tasks to meet network modernization objectives of the Army Modernization Plan to the Government Lead.
  • Perform analysis and evaluation, and support the planning, programming, budgeting and execution of major Project Management (PM) programs in the Army Modernization Plan.
  • Monitor and evaluate System Status in preparation for test and evaluation events. Track and coordinate key evaluation dates and evaluation event requirements and track compliance with those requirements. Collect and analyze information in support of the Army Modernization Plan and program schedules, and, in turn, utilize this information to provide recommendations to leadership regarding event requirements, key evaluation dates, and Army Modernization Plan requirements.
  • Review program statuses and schedules to make recommendations related to program’s ability to participate in modernization test and evaluation events. Collect information and draft briefing products or memorandums regarding this effort and report the findings to leadership .

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in an Engineering field with areas of studies in Industrial Engineering or Systems Engineering with four (4) years of experience working in the area of Engineering Analysis in industry on integrated multi-level programs; or two (2) years of experience working in Engineering Analysis on integrated multi-level DOD programs; and two (2) years of experience in a position that required preparing and presenting detailed reports and documents based upon the analysis conducted.
