• Participate in and support USCYBERCOM action officers to conduct deliberate planning based on national level guidance, including Guidance for the Employment of the Force (GEF), Joint Strategic Capabilities Plan (JSCP), and USCYBERCOM direction. Synchronize DoD Cyberspace operations, planning in coordination with the combatant commands and services. 
• Support the Joint Planning Group (JPG) by conducting operational design to initiate JPG activities, including mission analysis, course of action (COA) development, analysis and approval, and developing commanders estimates and campaign plans to support orders development and various Cyberspace options for USCYBERCOM consideration and execution.
•  Use modeling and simulation methodologies to represent networks or environments to support COAs that create the commanders preferred effects. 
• Coordinate planning efforts with higher, lower, adjacent, and multinational headquarters and the interagency and liaison with other staff agencies and components to keep abreast of current operational and intelligence situations. 
• Advise the commander on any supported combatant commanders plans and orders that relate to and may impact the USCYBERCOM mission.
  

TS/SCI with CI Poly Clearance (Day 1 Requirement)
• Experience as a Joint operation planner
• Experience with measuring the progress of the Joint force toward mission accomplishment and providing feedback into the planning process to adjust operations
• Experience with using Measures of Performances (MOPs) to evaluate task performance at all levels of war and using Measures of Effectiveness (MOEs) to determine progress of operations toward achieving objectives
• Knowledge of the Joint Operation Planning Process (JOPP), Joint Operation Planning and Execution System (JOPES), and Adaptive Planning and Execution (APEX)
• TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
• BA or BS degree
• Graduate of Joint Professional Military Education (JPME), other military planning courses, or completion of advanced Service Planner School 

Additional Qualifications
• Experience with Cyberspace operations planning
• Experience in working with senior civilian and senior military staff
• Knowledge of US military processes, methodologies, and orders
• Graduate of Military Service or Joint Cyber Planning
