Job Description

  • Under broad direction, asists in studies related to security, network or data processing systems. 
  • Plans, schedules and coordinates project implementations and ensures that customer requirements are met. 
  • Reviews and analyzes complex DoD and Federal Government policy involving identity management, COMSEC and public key technologies. 
  • Assists others on technical or industry-related issues. 
  • Anticipates customer problems and recommends solutions. 
  • Applies business process improvement practices to reengineer methodologies/principles and business process modernization projects. 
  • Applies, as appropriate, analysis to data modeling, transaction flow analysis, internal control and risk analysis and modern business methods and performance measurement techniques. 
  • Assists in establishing standards and policies for security and information systems procedures. 
  • Helps to develop or provide recommendations on organization-wide standards and policies related to designing and building integrated, secure network, software and database management systems. 
  • Constructs sound, logical business improvement opportunities consistent with corporate Information Management guiding principles, cost savings, and open system architecture objectives.

Qualifications

Education/Experience: 

  • Top Secret Security Clearance (Day 1 Requirement)
  • B.S. in a technical discipline (STEM) with at least 5 years of experience OR 10 years of demonstrated experience in Information Assurance designing, developing and implementing Identity Management (IA) and COMSEC technologies and building network identity architectures, analysis and plans OR 3 years demonstrated experience in developing Army policy, planning documents and conducting studies/analysis OR a doctorate degree in any S.T.E.M. related hard science (i.e. non-liberal). 

Certifications: Holds a CISSP, GSLC, CISM or CASP certification. Compliant with DoD Instruction 8570.1-M.
