The Finance Specialist supports the Finance Manager in maintaining strong financial control, cost discipline, and accurate reporting across Matna’s factory operations.

Job Description

  • Support the monitoring and recording of production costs, raw material consumption, and yield performance
  • Track inventory movement, stock valuation, and finished goods records to prevent financial losses from waste or stock aging
  • Assist in maintaining accurate financial documentation across procurement, production, and sales processes
  • Support budgeting and forecasting activities aligned with production plans and commercial demand
  • Reconcile production data with financial records to ensure accuracy and accountability
  • Assist in implementing and maintaining internal controls and compliance standards within the factory
  • Prepare routine financial reports and schedules for management review
  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure financial discipline in daily operational activities
  • Support audit processes and regulatory documentation as required
  • Maintain organized financial records and data for operational and management use

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field
  • 3–6 years’ finance or accounting experience within FMCG, food processing, agro-processing, or industrial manufacturing
  • Basic understanding of factory cost accounting, inventory control, and production cost tracking
  • Professional certification such as ACA, ACCA, or equivalent is required
  • Experience working with operational teams in a processing or manufacturing environment
  • Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
  • Good knowledge of financial documentation, reporting, and reconciliation processes
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
  • Good communication and organizational skills
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and process discipline
