The disease is characterized by lost bone volume and quality, reduced bone strength and increased fracture risk. Job Description

The Temporary Contracts Attorney will have significant experience in reviewing contracts with a focus on clinical trial agreements and vendor contracts in the US and Europe. This is a flexible, remote position with a projected workload of 10-20 hours per week, an expected duration of 6-12 months, and compensation in the range of $100 to $150 per hour.

Essential Functions

  • Review, draft and provide comments to master level and project level contracts, primarily in the area of human clinical trials for medical devices and vendor contracts to support the Company’s business needs.
  • Ensure that contracts are in compliance with multi-national legal, regulatory and organizational requirements.
  • Advise the organization on legal issues concerning intellectual property, indemnification, confidentiality, data privacy, and other substantive legal matters impacting contract negotiations.
  • Collaborate with clinical and vendor contracting teams to ensure alignment on all legal and business terms and escalate issues for resolution and approval as appropriate.

Qualifications

Experience

  • 8+ years of contract negotiation experience, including experience in negotiating contracts for pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical technology/device or other life sciences companies.
  • Bar admission in at least one state.

Skills

  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Superb written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze legal terms and concepts in relation to business needs.
  • Proficiency with MS Word and Sharepoint.

Preferences

  • Knowledge of data privacy requirements under the EU General Data Protection Regulation.
