Job Description

Position Summary:

The Corporate Marketing & Communications Coordinator will manage the production
of our annual company magazine, support efforts to drive the adoption and
participation of AD’s professional services suite, implement the company
communications plan directed at current and prospective customers and
associates, collaborate on the production and dissemination of the company
quarterly financial reports, and track and analyze communications and marketing
activities.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Manage the production of the annual company magazine, AD Today (35%):
    • project management
    • supporting ad sales activities
    • copy editing articles
    • leveraging print content for social media
  • Support efforts to drive the adoption of and participation in AD’s ever growing suite of services (25%):
    • Marketing of all elements of the AD suite services to the AD community through digital and print communications, public relations and meetings.
    • Serve as the corporate marketing go-to person and liaison for internal corporate program owners.
    • Create a process to communicate internally to divisional teams to keep them abreast of program updates and new offerings.
    • Facilitate the surveying of the membership.
    • Create a report via Salesforce to track program participation and provide internal sales teams with information on potential targets.
  • Implement the company communications plan directed at current and prospective customers and associates (30%):
    • Write blogs, tweets, email campaigns, brochures, web copy, thought leadership pieces and press releases, etc.
    • Create social media content, including photographs and editing videos.
    • Manage the company event app for every company event.
    • Play a supporting role in marketing of company events and in some cases providing on-site support.
    • Prepare customized PowerPoint presentations for the divisional teams to utilize at bi-annual meetings and during prospective member or supplier meetings.
    • Write internal company communications keeping AD associates abreast of company news.
  • Collaborate with the Finance Department and the divisional teams on the production and dissemination of the company quarterly financial reports (5%).
  • Track and analyze communications and marketing activities from social media to press mentions, to the traffic the public and private websites (5%).
  • Handle other tasks and projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, or related field
  • Prior marketing experience preferred
  • Knowledge of the following: PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Salesforce, Final Cut Pro, Photoshop and InDesign

Additional Comments:

  • Travel: 5% of travel annually to support AD events
  • Hours: 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.; some overtime may be required
