Job Description

As an Office Administrator with Aero Trading, your administrative skill set will play a key role in supporting the purchase and delivery of our wide range of commercial fishing products to and from various locations across the globe.

The main job duties for this position include:

  • Completing paperwork thoroughly and efficiently with a high attention to detail
  • Preparing and sending out invoices to clients
  • Entering data accurately across all systems, including Inventory Management and Excel 
  • Maintaining an accurate log of delivery locations, cargo in transit, and any other details pertaining to shipment delivery (unloading supplies, freight costs, etc.)
  • Coordinating and arranging logistics for shipments 
  • Ensuring all shipment information has been provided and documented

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a fast paced administrative or logistics role
  • Strong analytical ability and computer literacy
    • Proficient MS Excel knowledge required
    • Inventory management software knowledge an asset
    • Accounting software knowledge an asset
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to learn quickly
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize and allocate time according to the task and impact on business
  • Willingness to work flexible hours as needed
  • Ability to work quickly and independently, but will ask for help directly when needed
  • High accountability and ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure in a fast paced environment
  • Knowledge of the seafood and marine industry an asset but not essential
