Advanced Sports Media Group is dedicated to the growth and celebration of college and high school-aged soccer and volleyball and amateur pickleball. Our two digital properties are TopDrawerSoccer.com and PrepVolleyball.com – think ESPN.com for club/HS/college soccer and volleyball (or if you're familiar with Rivals, they are identical to Rivals). Our pickleball brand, National Pickleball, owns and operates 20+ amateur-focused pickleball tournaments across the nation each year. We are fully-remote and nationally-distributed company (ie. you can work from wherever you want!).
Job Description
About the Role
- Prospect potential customers through various lead generation methods with the goal of converting general leads into qualified leads, in the following categories:
- Tournaments
- ID Camps
- Education – Student Loans, Online Learning
- Product Manufacturers
- Travel – Hotel, Cruise
- Retail – Endemic Apparel/Fashion
- Collaborate with sales team to review ASM assets and offerings.
- Conduct weekly progress report with sales team to to convert general leads into qualified leads.
- Potential Full-Cycle Sales Opportunities (ie. Less complex sales that intern can eventually prospect and close themselves):
- PrepVolleyball – Tournaments and ID Camps
- TopDrawerSoccer – Tournaments and ID Camps
- National Pickleball – Event Vendors
Program Overview
- Weekly goal will be to schedule 2-3 meetings with potential clients. These clients can be found via:
- Cold calls, social media (LinkedIn), email
- Re-contacting previous leads in ASM CRM
- Track and document results
Incentive program
- Monthly Stipend - $300
- Potential to earn more through Sales Process Incentive Tiers - These incentives are on-going:
- Every five meetings scheduled = $20 Amazon gift card (join VP of Sales on all)
- Every three proposals sent = $50 Amazon gift card (assist creating proposals)
- Every two closed sales = $100 Amazon gift card OR sporting event/concert tickets
Qualifications
18-years or older, preferably enrolled in an AA or BA/BS program.
