Job Description
The position will lead the implementation, maintenance, performance tuning, and capacity management for all organizational software systems as directed by management and senior staff. This position will provide Software solutions delivery support and mentoring for Software Engineers.
- Work closely with business stakeholders to gather integration requirements and translate them into scalable and maintainable solution architectures.
- Design comprehensive integration solutions that leverage MuleSoft's Anypoint Platform along with other technologies to ensure seamless data flow and interoperability between disparate systems such as Banner, Salesforce, and Canvas.
- Configure and customize Mulesoft Anypoint Platform components such as API Manager, Anypoint Studio, and Runtime Manager to build scalable and reliable integration solutions. Implement RESTful and SOAP web services using Mule ESB. Customize MuleSoft components and connectors to accommodate specific integration requirements and business logic.
- Implement error handling, data transformation, and security mechanisms within MuleSoft integration flows.
- Establish automated CI/CD pipelines using Azure Pipeline and GitHub to streamline the build, test, and deployment processes for MuleSoft applications.
- Integrate MuleSoft deployments into Azure DevOps for Environment Branching, ensuring consistent deployment across multiple environments.
- Utilize Azure API Management (APIM) to expose and manage APIs developed with MuleSoft, enforcing security policies, and analytics.
- Configure monitoring of logs using New Relic to track the performance and health of MuleSoft integrations.
- Integrate MuleSoft applications with Banner, Salesforce, Sharepoint, Shared drive and other Database systems, implementing data mapping, retrieval, and manipulation functionalities.
- Deploy MuleSoft applications to CloudHub, managing configurations and resources efficiently.
- Coordinate with teams to provision and maintain environments required for development, testing, staging, and production deployment.
- Document technical specifications, integration workflows, and deployment procedures to facilitate knowledge sharing and maintain system documentation.
- Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior developers, sharing best practices, and promoting knowledge sharing within the team.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, testers, project manager and stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of integration projects.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5+ years of hands-on experience developing Mule applications and integrations.
- Proficiency in Mulesoft Anypoint Platform, including Anypoint Studio, API Manager, and Runtime Manager.
- Strong understanding of integration design patterns and best practices.
- Experience as Tech lead and ability to work independently.
- Must have experience in coordinating with offshore and onsite teams.
- Demonstrated ability to document technical designs, specifications, and deployment procedures.
- Certification in MuleSoft (e.g., MuleSoft Certified Developer)
- Experience with Agile development methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban is a plus.
Additional Information
In support of the pay transparency laws enacted across the country, the expected salary range for this position is between $84,835.61 and $149,076.17. Actual pay will be adjusted based on job-related factors permitted by law, such as experience and training; geographic location; licensure and certifications; market factors; departmental budgets; and responsibility.
