Job Description

We’re seeking an experienced Contract Recruiter to join our dynamic team for a 6-month opportunity. In this role, you will play a vital part in identifying exceptional talent and helping them envision their professional future with us.

 

What You'll Do:

  • Collaborate with hiring managers and Talent Acquisition leadership to define hiring objectives and strategies, focusing on student-facing and academic positions across our institutions.
  • Prepare job postings, secure approvals, and manage requisitions to initiate the recruiting process.
  • Conduct Intake Meetings with hiring teams to align on candidate profiles, goals, and timelines.
  • Review resumes and establish a candidate pool that meets the hiring team's requirements.
  • Conduct thorough behavioral interviews to assess candidates’ fit based on established criteria.
  • Utilize market expertise and data to educate and influence hiring managers, providing regular status updates.
  • Source top-tier talent for immediate needs and proactively build a candidate pipeline for future demands.
  • Maintain accurate records and statistics in our Applicant Tracking System (SmartRecruiters).
  • Extend offers of employment and support candidates through the initial onboarding process.
  • Completes other duties as assigned.  
  • Performs other duties as assigned.  
  • Complies with all policies and standards

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of full cycle recruiting experience, preferably in a corporate or in-house setting.
  • Strong sourcing and networking skills to enhance the candidate pipeline.
  • Effective organization, planning, and time management skills to meet hiring needs.
  • Attention to detail and agility to manage administrative tasks with precision.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in applicant tracking systems, social media, recruitment tools, and Microsoft Office.

Additional Information

Work Environment:

This is a hybrid position based in our Chicago office at 500 West Monroe, where you’ll collaborate with a high-performing team 3-4 days a week, allowing for meaningful engagement and teamwork.
