Job Description

The Challenge

Adobe is looking to employ a passionate, innovative, tech enthusiastic and an evangelist of sought who could be looked upon as a front runner to build and manage a team as Head - Competency, Digital Marketing. As a hands-on manager, this leader needs to leverage his/her proven experience with Enterprise Architecture design and best practices, software engineering processes, Understanding of Infra set ups and guide the team toward excellence in solution delivery and optimization of resources. This leader will need to be able to drive / join / review all levels of functional / technical designs, discussions and deliverables to make sure projects’ success. This leader will need to be able to make customer visits and present reviews and participate to propel futuristic business for Adobe. His team will be responsible to support and maintain adobe custom developed solutions for our high end customers globally.

What you’ll do

  • Responsible for thought leadership and technology leadership, identification of tech trends and execution.
  • Provide Architectural leadership in designing an integration strategy between cloud and back end applications.
  • Lead and build a team of talented leads for Adobe global services. Product includes Digital marketing suite eg AEM, Adobe Campaign and Analytics etc. This would also include the scope for integrating between Adobe Marketing Cloud and Creative Cloud solutions in the long run
  • Be hands-on technologist with strong Digital Marketing business acumen, with the ability to design solutions in tune with customer needs
  • Should have experience in Infra related Set ups and Technical Environment designs
  • Represent the group in multiple cross-functional management forums regarding technical, product and incident topics
  • Requires a working ‘‘hands-on’’ technical understanding of the systems, products, architectures and issues involved
  • Must demonstrate a sense of ownership to plan, execute and drive the product deliverables to successful completion and be successful in a collaborative environment. Leads and motivates the teams in a fast-paced, dynamic, and global environment
  • Responsible to Build/Hire, Lead and Mentor a motivated team of Architects and lead Engineers
  • Lead the team to follow engineering best practices in an Agile (SCRUM) process
  • Excellent decision-making, communication and collaboration, skills.
  • Experience in working with global stakeholders and teams is a must
  • Able to fit in well within an informal rapid innovation environment and to provide hands-on management
  • Escalation Management and critical situation management is a must

Qualifications

What you need to succeed

  • BS degree in Computer Science (or equivalent), Advanced degree preferred
  • 13+ years enterprise software I web platform experience or equivalent industry experience
  • Experience in any JCR based WEM/WCM systems
  • Experienced in expanding and managing a high performance technical teams including: hiring, mentoring and retaining talented team members
  • Must be a strong people manager. Prefer at least 5 years of management experience with technical teams of 10 or more.
  • Should have experience working with teams in rapid delivery environments
  • Demonstrated knowledge in all aspects of the software development process. Practical experience working with Agile (SW Development Process)
  • Able to act as an advocate for both internal and external customers to ensure we successfully deliver on the requirements and expectations
  • Excellent Java Web experience (J2EE, Sling, JSPs, Servlets, taglibs, frameworks, etc.)
  • Excellent JavaScript experience (including AJAX, JQuery and ExtJS)
  • Good Web UI development experience (HTML, CSS, etc.)
  • Solid knowledge of Windows and UNIX operating systems.
  • Desire to be on a highly productive, fast-paced team.
  • Excellent English written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience in web site analysis and knowledge of best practice requirements to deliver business optimization solutions is advantageous
