STC Transportation is a medium-sized national carrier with over 15 years as the dedicated in-house carrier for the nation’s largest exporter.  

Core Duties & Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the coordination, scheduling, dispatching and planning of customer load shipments
• Act as the main point of contact for all driver facing communication via phone, text and Samsara 
• Develop a strong relationship with Independent Contractors
• Offer exceptional support to the customer and drivers to ensure that their needs are being met
• Monitor loads throughout your shift in order to effectively meet delivery schedules
• Respond to customers efficiently, thoroughly, and professionally
• Manage customer and driver expectations to align with operational capabilities
• Monitor performance and available hours of Fleet Drivers
• Work cooperatively with our in-house customer to provide solutions for customers’ needs and resolve issues
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Proactively establish and maintain effective working team relationships with all support departments
• Must be proficient with Microsoft Office products including; Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc
• Must work from LOCATION – not remotely  
• Ideal candidate will possess a “can do" attitude with a “will do" work ethic
• Experience with dispatch TMS operating systems is preferred
• Port and Transportation industry knowledge and experience is preferred
• Dispatch/load planning experience
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus
