Job Description

Postal Service Mail Processors:

Process incoming and outgoing mail for distribution using a variety of automated mail processing equipment.   

Examines, sorts, and routes mail by state, type of mail, etc. 

Loads and unloads mail from a variety of automated mail processing equipment. 

Starts equipment; monitors flow of mail to ensure continuous feed.   

Stops equipment when distribution run or operation is completed. 

Clears jams and contacts maintenance for assistance when required.

 

Basic Requirements:

Must Have High School Diploma or GED.
Must be at least 18 years of age.

( OR, 17 with High School Diploma )
Must be U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident.

( or have Green Card )

Must pass Drug Screening after receiving job offer.
