We currently have an opportunity for a Road Mechanic at our Syracuse, NY branch.  The Road Mechanic is responsible for the maintenance and repair of ADMAR Supply and customer-owned equipment.

Responsibilities:

•  Drive repair truck to customer sites in response to service calls.
• Service equipment by troubleshooting issues, performing inspections, repairs and installations efficiently.

• Ensure equipment is properly repaired on a timely basis.
• Perform complete inspections of equipment and report issues with repairs to Service Manager. 
• Complete all required paperwork on a timely basis.
• Service area will cover Syracuse and outlying areas to the North. This includes, Fulton, Oswego, Auburn, Utica and Watertown.

• Experience in the service repair industry, preferably repairing construction (heavy) equipment
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and be able to obtain a DOT certification
• Knowledge of gas engines, hydraulics and electrical systems
• Comfortable working in a fast paced, high pressure environment with a high level of complexity
• Flexibility to meet customer needs
