Job Description

The Supplier Onboarding Administrator is responsible for completing onboarding process for new suppliers, ensuring all requirements are met, documentation is accurate, and compliance standards are upheld.

Working within our Supply Chain team, you will be involved in the onboarding activities linked to one of our group acquisitions—acting as the key point of contact for new suppliers and internal stakeholders.

Your work will directly contribute to building a reliable, compliant, and efficient supplier base that supports our business goals.

Supplier Onboarding

  • Involved in the  onboarding process for suppliers linked to one of our newest group businesses.
  • Gather and document onboarding requirements in collaboration with cross‑functional teams.
  • Carry out due diligence checks to ensure suppliers meet the company’s compliance, safety, and commercial standards.
  • Manage supplier documentation including accreditations, insurances, compliance forms, and credit applications.
  • Monitor and maintain supplier credit limits.
  • Work closely with the SHEQ team to ensure subcontractors align with company policies.

Relationship Management

  • Act as one of the primary points of contact for all new suppliers throughout the onboarding journey.
  • Liaise with operations, purchase ledger, and other internal teams to resolve onboarding or documentation queries.

Process Improvement

  • Contribute to improving accuracy, automation, and efficiency in supplier onboarding processes.
  • Support the development of best-practice onboarding frameworks for group-wide use.

Qualifications

  • Strong administrative skills with high accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Teams.
  • Confident reviewing and analysing supplier documentation.
  • Strong literacy skills and ability to produce clear, accurate written communication.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with both suppliers and internal colleagues.
