Job Description

The Talent Acquisition Manager is responsible for managing the end-to-end recruitment cycle for the organisation, developing talent pipelines and formulating the recruitment strategy of the organization.

Main Responsiblities

  • Designs, develops and maintain the recruitment process in the organization (including its description, recruitment measurement definitions, regular measurement reporting, taking proper actions to close gaps)
  • Review  key jobs on an ongoing basis and ensure the pipeline is robust
  • Designs the selection matrix for choosing the optimum recruitment channel and recruitment source
  • Explores the market best practices in the recruitment and staffing and implement appropriate best practices in the organization
  • Builds a quality relationship with the internal customers and external recruitment agencies and provides support to functional HR team leads and business partners in various recruitment activities and to assess and prioritize recruitment needs
  • Monitors and constantly seeks innovative ways to reduce high costs of the recruitment process and delivers maximum value on time to hire and cost per hire
  • Sets the social media communication strategy for different job profiles and functions in the organization
  • Arranges for interviews for positions and sometimes conducts job interviews for the designated job positions
  • Monitors the labor legislation and implements required changes to keep the process compliant
  • Man and consolidate the LinkedIn Recruiter tool as well as the ATS applicant system and any other platform used by the country in hiring people
  • Assist with Career Fairs and any job fairs or related events that the Company wished to engage in.
  • Acts as the first point of contact for HR business partners on recruitment and hiring matters
  • Designs adequate training for HR Recruiters and hiring line managers
  • Drives the graduate internship scheme currently in place in the organization.
  • Plans innovative approaches to identifying resources and builds a qualified resource pool for current and future projects
  • Ensure effective candidate selection, (in line with the organisation’s employee branding policies and core values) assessment and on-boarding processes are in place

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in any discipline
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in related role
  • Basic knowledge of Labour and industrial relations laws
  • Membership of HR Professional Bodies is an added advantage
  • Knowledge of global best practices in recruitment and sourcing
  • Experience with recruitment projects (internal or external) at any level in any organization essential
  • Experience with handling third party recruiters and handling related services
  • Structured methodical approach, with excellent operational standards
  • Strong knowledge of the business, contemporary trends and practices in talent resourcing
  • Strong interviewing and person assessment skills 
  • Knowledge of social media processes/tools an advantage
