Job Description

Adfero seeks a full-time Account Executive (AE) who is passionate about creative problem solving and has exceptional client service skills. The position will be responsible for providing strategic communications and web support for a high-profile government client. The AE will work primarily on-site with the client as part of a larger strategic communications team.

ABOUT THE JOB
You’ll be collaborating with team members to develop project plans and implement communications strategies to promote international education policy and compliance initiatives.

You’ll support a large, integrated communications website on behalf of our government client. You will use your strong organizational skills to collaborate closely with developers, creative, subject matter experts, account staff and the client to achieve objectives and maintain order on the project. You’ll also help produce and manage content for the client’s website that reaches millions of people around the world.

Exercising your critical thinking skills, you’ll contribute strategic ideas to the editorial and deployment calendars and help reach our client’s annual goals. You’ll also monitor and report web analytics, as well as develop and deliver regular account deliverables to the client. Your strong attention to detail and knack for successfully managing multiple projects at once make you the perfect candidate for the role.

Qualifications

  • At least three years of communications experience, preferably in an agency setting with past work on government projects
  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations, journalism or a related discipline
  • The ability to pass a security clearance
  • Excellent writing, research, analysis and editing skills
  • Experience supporting all phases of project planning, design, execution and delivery
  • Strong organizational skills and thorough attention to detail
  • Excellent presentation, interpersonal and communication skills
  • The ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and issues
  • Understanding of interactive and web development processes and emerging web technologies
  • Experience managing web content using Drupal
  • The ability to thrive in a collaborative environment while independently managing projects
