Job Description

Shpock is a mobile marketplace that brings millions of buyers and sellers together. As Talent Sourcer you will be at the heart of Shpock’s people growth, actively driving our business success. Key responsibilities: 

  • Partner with our Talent Acquisition Specialist and Hiring Managers in the delivery of recruitment campaigns: Identify, engage and recruit amazing people for Shpock, while ensuring a magical candidate experience
  • Define and execute active sourcing recruitment strategies aimed at attracting passive candidates and maintaining a strong ongoing pipeline of top talent with a focus on Product & Tech 

  • Proactively suggest and implement new ways to increase the flow within our talent pipelines, using cutting edge techniques and a variety of channels

  • Develop deep knowledge about relevant target communities and build a network of potential candidates for current and future vacancies

  • Support our Employer Branding activities online and offline in order to make Shpock stand out in challenging recruitment markets

  • Broaden your horizon by supporting the HR team in activities such as Onboarding, Offboarding, learning events, and engagement initiatives


Your profile:

  • Some experience in recruitment, using active sourcing techniques and tools (and supporting data)

  • Strong interest in technology and the digital industries, ideally with relevant work experience 

  • Knowledge on how to properly use Boolean operators

  • Curious by nature, with a will to ask and understand

  • A relationship-builder and an excellent communicator

  • Self-driven and results-oriented; who demonstrates a determination to drive things forward

  • Innovative and creative, challenge the status quo

  • Thrives in a high-paced, international work environment

  • You really like recruitment and are always in the look-out for new and better ways of doing it.

  • Excellent written and spoken English 

Big Plus: 

  • You read "Full Stack Recruiter" by Jan Tegze or any other similar book
  • You participated in, at least, one Sourcing Hackathon
  • Irina Shamaeva and Dean Da Costa aren't strange names for you.

Austrian law requires us to post the minimum salary according to the collective agreement. This is EUR 33.000,- gross per year. We offer a market conform salary in line with your qualifications and experience. We will treat your application in strict confidence.
