Job Description

What will you do

  • Together with your team you will write code that is used by millions of users.

  • You influence every aspect of the Android development process from API creation, design, and product.

  • Make our Jenkins CI do more fancy stuff.

  • Test code for robustness.

  • Work on bug fixing and improving application performance.

  • Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.

  • You share your experience with your team, teach and learn.

  • Bring in your own ideas and be responsible for further development of the Shpock Android app - we have big plans!

Qualifications

You love Oreos, Nougat, Marshmallows & Jelly Beans?  Advance our Android app with your coding skills and ideas!

 

Who are we looking for?

  • You have 5+ years in professional development and 3+ years experience in professional Android development

  • You have a strong mobile portfolio with Apps published on the Google Play Store

  • You have expert knowledge in Java and Android frameworks

  • You already use Kotlin, or want to learn it

  • You have worked with RESTful APIs

  • You know how to optimise the apps performance

  • You have profound understanding of OOP & Design Patterns

  • You have experience with unit testing and ideally with integration testing

  • You quickly find simple, elegant solutions to hard problems and you are confident when working to deadlines

  • You are a team player with excellent written and spoken English communication skills

We offer an attractive salary for this position based on your qualifications and experience. Austrian law requires us to post a minimum salary for this position, which is € 50.000,- gross per year (for a full-time job). Of course we are ready to pay more.
