ROLE
You will be working from Office in India, collaborating and socialising with your colleagues across our two UK and Bulgaria Offices.
The role operates as a key member of our Managed Services team, assisting with the Application support and development for our customers’ cloud workloads including modern data platform and on premise, providing DevOps support during solution delivery and on into production operation.
This is a customer facing position. You will be working with our customers daily. You’ll be working, collaborating, and socialising with your colleagues across all four offices. There will be a need to occasionally work outside of the normal office hours, but this can be remotely (from your home)
Job Description
RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Jr. Data Engineer - Managed Services you will be expected to do the following:
- Application support for modern data platform for the customers.
- Working on development tasks assigned by clients.
- Influence the architecture of solutions such that they are supportable, including input into delivery frameworks and processes.
- Ensure that technical knowledge is transferred and retained.
- Act as a technical point of escalation for the Managed Service we deliver to our clients.
- Collaborate on the definition and on-going improvement of internal processes.
- Mentor the wider Managed Service team.
Qualifications
EXPERIENCE & SKILLS
- Enterprise level cloud & infrastructure practices and an interest in application delivery
- An attention to detail and a focus on continual improvement
- Problem solving
- Ability to identify opportunities and issues.
- Ability and attitude towards investigating and sharing new technologies.
- Willingness to learn based on feedback and able to help others develop.
- Strong written and spoken English.
- Interpersonal skills
- Experience of most of the following (but not limited to):
- Microsoft Azure Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF), Azure Landing Zones, Hub/Spoke Networks, ARM Templates, Azure DevOps including Pipelines and Repos.
