Job Description

Acumatica is hiring an SVP, Partner Strategy and Programs who will serve as leader for the Global Acumatica Partner Ecosystem.  This executive will be responsible for leading the overall Acumatica partner strategy, key programs and initiatives to continue to grow and develop the partner ecosystem.  This person will need to represent our overall partner strategy to external audiences as well as to guide and drive the internal processes across cross-functional teams to build Acumatica’s indirect partner capabilities. 

This role reports to our President and Chief Operating Officer and we're open to hire remotely in the US.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Channel Strategy & Ecosystem Leadership

  • Define a global channel strategy aligned with Acumatica’s growth objectives and cloud ERP leadership vision.

  • Strengthen and expand Acumatica’s channel ecosystem across VARs, ISVs, OEM partners, and services partners.

  • Create a best-in-class partner engagement model designed to optimize partner time to productivity and long-term value. ‑in‑class partner engagement model designed to optimize partner time‑to‑productivity and long‑term value.

  • Lead Acumatica’s evolution from transactional partner recruitment to high-impact strategic alliances.

2. Revenue & Sales Leadership Through the Channel

  • Drive revenue growth exclusively through the partner ecosystem.

  • Partner with regional sales leaders to balance short-term pipeline acceleration with long-term channel sustainability‑term pipeline acceleration with long‑term channel sustainability.

  • Design programs and approaches that motivate all partner types without compromising pricing, competitive differentiation, or partner equity.

  • Build and manage the capacity for solution architecture for the company to ensure that we are extending the capabilities of our partners in how they are proposing and building solutions for our customers so that we drive overall win rate of opportunities

4. Partner Program Development & Enablement

  • Lead the evolution of Acumatica’s award-winning Partner Program‑winning Partner Program

  • Strengthen global recruitment, onboarding, certification pathways, and partner engagement frameworks.

  • Ensure that new partners graduate to full productivity faster, with measurable progress across revenue, pipeline velocity, and customer success.

5. Product & Solution Alignment

  • Work with product leadership to ensure product strategy aligns with partner needs, industry specialization, and competitive trends.

  • Drive partner involvement in roadmap feedback loops and solution innovation.

  • Expand strategic ISV partnerships that add value and extend Acumatica platform capabilities.

6. Education and Training

  • Design and execute world-class education and training offerings for Acumatica and customers.

  • Ensure that we have multiple modalities for end users and partner employees to become experts of Acumatica products.

7. Executive Partnership & Stakeholder Alignment

  • Serve as the executive liaison for Acumatica’s top global partners.

  • Ensure cross functional alignment with Sales, Product, Marketing, Finance, Operations, and Customer Success ‑functional alignment with Sales, Product, Marketing, Finance, Operations, and Customer Success.

  • Represent Acumatica’s channel strategy in board level and investment partner discussions‑level and investment‑partner discussions.

Qualifications

Who you are... 

  • Results-oriented. You love the doing and the process, but you are all about results.  You have excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, including the ability to effectively prioritize and execute activities in a high-pressure just in time environment.  You adhere to and analyze standards and procedures for workflow and change management. 

  • Communicator.  You have outstanding verbal and written communication skills with domestic and international customers, both external and internal 

  • Great with Partners. You have an ability to establish great rapport with people, and you have a track record working with partners.  You work successfully alongside external and internal constituents who are technical and non-technical when executing your daily responsibilities and contributing to cross-functional projects of broad scope 

  • Experienced.  
  • 15+ years of proven leadership skills as a sales / business development executive within a complex professional services firm, such as a corporate law practice, capital firm or a major division of a business consulting organization serving the mid-market. 
  • Demonstrated track record of building businesses. 

  • Proven and verifiable history of increasing revenues to meet benchmarks and company goals. 

  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA or relevant degree prefeered. 

  • Strong communication and negotiation skills. 

  • Keen interpersonal and customer relations skills.

For this role, the salary range is $240,000-$275,000 annually. This range represents the low and high end of the salary range for this job and may vary based on location. The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including skills, qualifications, experience and other relevant elements.
At Acumatica, certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including annual bonus and stock. These awards are allocated based on individual performance. In addition, certain roles also have the opportunity to earn sales incentives based on revenue or utilization, depending on the terms of the plan and the employee’s role.
