Job Description
- Partner with assigned Business Process Owners as the Technical Process Owner for key Acumatica process groups to improve operational performance via process redesign, technology solutions and automation.
- Analyze business issues, define requirements, design computer programs, process improvements and recommend automated system controls and protocols to solve organizational information issues.
- Determine operational objectives, gather information, and evaluate output requirements and formats.
- Work closely with Business Process Owners and key end users to analyze, define, model, and document systems requirements. Identify project milestones, phases, and elements, and keep team within timeline and budget.
- Construct workflow charts, diagrams and process flows, study system capabilities, and write specifications.
- Implement system configuration changes, business events, custom reports and dashboards, data export/imports, etc.
- Develop organizational change management framework and conduct user acceptance testing.
- Create end-user documentation (e.g., user guides, process flow charts, training materials) and deliver training.
- Partner with business and technical teams in establishing project teams and providing overall direction for the technology development components of projects from initiation through to delivery.
- Gather required data from end-users to evaluate objectives, goals, and scope to create technical specifications.
- Keep leadership informed of key issues that may impact project completion, budget, or other results.

Qualifications
- 5+ years’ experience as a Business Analyst primarily in software development environments. Experience creating Business Requirement Documents, Functional Specification Documents, mockups, UML diagrams and detailed test plans and cases.
- 4+ years of relevant experience with ERP and CRM.
- Software Design experience is required, as is experience with Microsoft SQL server and database management tools.
- Experience configuring and maintaining systems, as well as providing user support.
- Ability to analyze and categorize issues in the context of organizational and functional objectives.
- Ability to perform and document detailed analyses of the end-user’s business processes and routine.
- Solid understanding of current market trends from the solution, vendor and end-user perspective.
- Ability to demonstrate strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to act as a primary point of contact for external stakeholders such as Customers, Partners, ISVs and Internal stakeholders like developers, testers, and product managers.
- Ability to take ownership and be autonomous.
- Ability to focus and pay close attention to details while keeping sight of the larger issues.
- Ability to learn, absorb and dispense new information, both technical and procedural.
- Ability to present software products and technical solutions for internal stakeholders, partners and customers.
- Solid understanding of software algorithms and development process.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering (or equivalent experience).
- Great communications and customer service skills.
