Job Description


Duties and responsibilities:

  • Analysis of business scenarios and product requirements, communication with foreign partners and customers.
  • Design new features and create functional specifications, analyze backward compatibility of product changes, negotiate specifications with all stakeholders.
  • Driving the whole process of features implementation that implies collaboration with developers and test engineers.
  • Decomposition of changes in the product and setting the task for developers, coordination of implementation details and possible changes to the original requirements.
  • Interaction with automated testing engineers and technical writers within the project under development.
  • Comparison of functional specifications with actual changes in the product, acceptance testing and verification of corrected errors.
  • Creation of test scenarios that check the compliance of the product functionality with the requirements set.
  • Maintenance: processing support requests, manual verification of the fixed bugs.

Qualifications

  • Higher technical education in computer systems, systems and networks; information systems and technologies, system analysis and management, computational mathematics and Informatics.
  • Fluent English.
  • Experience in system analysis, development of functional specifications for the new system’s functionality, creating workflow diagrams - for 5+ years.
  • Experience in the following domains: Financial Accounting, Bookkeeping – for 3+ years
  • Experience in writing functional specifications in English.
  • Experience working with both - developers and users, manual acceptance testing of the new functionality, writing test scenarios.
  • Analytical mindset and ability to learn quickly.
  • Ability to clearly express thoughts, structure big amounts of information, decompose objects and processes.
  • Ability to adhere to the designated priorities and focus on results.
  • Desire to learn new things and improve professional skills.
  • Ability to build constructive communication with colleagues, share information and experience.
  • Would be a huge plus: project management experience.
  • Optional: experience in implementation/support of ERP systems.
