Job Description
We are searching for a driven and adept Finance Professional to join our vibrant team in the role of Strategic Finance Analyst. The ideal candidate will blend expertise in Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) with a strategic mindset, playing a pivotal role in shaping the financial trajectory of the company, offering insights, and steering informed decision-making.
Responsibilities:
Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A):
- Develop and sustain financial models to facilitate budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning.
- Analyze financial data, discern trends, and provide insights crucial for key business decisions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to compile and consolidate financial data for reporting purposes.
- Prepare and deliver financial reports to senior management, highlighting significant performance indicators and variances.
Strategic Finance:
- Collaborate closely with executive leadership to propel strategic initiatives and contribute to overarching business strategy.
- Undertake thorough financial analysis to assess potential investments, partnerships, and strategic opportunities.
- Evaluate market trends, competitors, and industry developments to inform strategic decision-making.
- Offer recommendations on capital allocation, resource optimization, and strategies for business growth.
Budgeting and Forecasting:
- Lead the annual budgeting process, partnering closely with department heads to establish realistic and attainable financial objectives.
- Monitor actual performance against budget and forecast, identifying areas for enhancement and optimization.
- Provide actionable insights to refine budgeting precision and align financial objectives with business aims.
Financial Reporting:
- Ensure precise and punctual preparation of financial reports, encompassing income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Collaborate with accounting teams to reconcile financial data and rectify discrepancies.
- - Present financial reports to both internal and external stakeholders, articulating financial performance and trends effectively.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. MBA or CFA designation is advantageous.
- Demonstrated experience in FP&A and strategic finance roles, preferably within a dynamic corporate setting.
- Advanced proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis, and presentation skills.
- Sound comprehension of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities to foster effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Capacity to thrive in a fluid and evolving business environment.
Additional Information
Compensation will be $60,000 - $80,000 USD, depending on experience
