The HR Operations Analyst is responsible for developing analytic solutions that allow Accretive Health to measure, assess and make critical business decisions that drive the overall priorities aligned to the Company’s business strategy. Come join our growing team in our downtown Chicago office!
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify the measures and metrics needed to assess the impact of HR programs on business outcomes. Design and manage HR dashboards, reports, and scorecards using key metrics.
Act as administrator of all HR systems and advise on the design and development of HR application and data management solutions. Oversee HR data integrity to ensure framework supports HR processes and business requirements.
Provide ad-hoc reporting from HR systems, and prepare required governmental reporting involving employee data (e.g. EEO-1).
Provide analytical support for compensation review processes. Assist with annual 5500 filings, non-discrimination testing, Affordable Care Act tracking and reporting, and plan audits.
Develop internal processes and controls to support an analytics-driven organization (governance, data definitions, data management, information delivery, and security/compliance).
Develop roadmap to more effectively and efficiently leverage data/business intelligence across HR.Champion tools/processes enabling standard reporting, dashboards, and access to insights.
Support the development of HR reporting strategies by assessing business requirements against system capabilities and prioritizing solutions based on business needs.
Recommend streamlined HR processes through data automation, and work with business partners in HR, IT, and other departments to execute.
Participate in HR department sponsored special projects or initiatives pertaining to HR application and data management.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree with 3-5 years related experience in HR analytics
- Skilled at manipulating and managing large, complex databases, spreadsheets and queries
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including proficiency with VLOOKUPS, pivot tables, and data analysis functions
- Ability to communicate complex concepts in a succinct manner
- Ability to manage multiple projects within deadlines
- Strong solution orientation and the ability to anticipate problems
- Strong attention to detail
- Working knowledge of HRbest practices
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree
- Experience working in a data-driven HR organization
- Demonstrated expertise with report writing software and large enterprise systems
