We’re searching for energetic and enthusiastic Room Attendants and a Room Attendant/Houseperson to join our housekeeping team on a part-time basis.

If you love the feeling of walking into a clean and well-presented room and want to be the reason our guests feel that same sense of comfort, we want to hear from you! Most of our guests are with us for just one night, and we want them to have a great stay before they head off on the next part of their travel journey.

Our Room Attendants are responsible for carrying out allocated cleaning duties, achieving established standards of cleanliness, and completing tasks within set time limits to ensure that we have our rooms ready and well presented for arriving guests.  Our Houseperson maintains our public areas and supports the Room Attendants with delivering and removing linen and towels, cleaning products, and disposing of rubbish.This is a physically demanding role, so a good level of fitness is important.  

Our goal is always to provide a welcoming environment to everyone, to exceed our guests' expectations and present our hotel to a high standard. 

As a part time housekeeping team member, you will have:

• Guaranteed minimum weekly hours
• Paid annual leave, including leave loading
• Penalty rates for weekends and public holidays
• Job security with consistent, ongoing shifts

You will be paid award hourly rates:

Mon to Fri: $27.08
Saturday: $33.85
Sunday: $40.62
Public Holidays: $60.93

To be considered, you must have working rights in Australia, transport options to travel to and from Melbourne Airport and the physical ability to lift and carry linen and other items up and down stairs.

• Service oriented with a focus on guest experience

• Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience is an advantage

• Able to work as part of a team to consistently create a great guest experience

• An eye for detail and a drive to maintain high standards of cleanliness

• Physical ability and fitness to carry heavy loads up and down stairs

• Initiative to ensure that interactions with colleagues and customers are positive

• Flexibility to work a rotating roster including weekends and public holidays

• Previous experience in a similar hotel or accommodation role would be an advantage
