Job Description
Doorman
- Greets all guests and visitors warmly upon arrival and departure, ensuring a positive first impression at all times.
- Opens and closes doors for guests, assisting with entry and exit in a courteous and professional manner.
- Assists guests with luggage and coordinates with the Bell Desk when required.
- Provides information regarding hotel facilities, services, and directions to guests.
- Ensures the entrance area is clean, organized, and presentable at all times.
- Coordinates with Security and Front Office teams to ensure guest safety and smooth operations.
- Assists in managing traffic flow at the entrance, including taxis and private vehicles.
- Responds promptly to guest inquiries, requests, and complaints, and escalates when necessary.
- Maintains awareness of daily events, VIP arrivals, and in-house activities.
- Reports any suspicious activity or safety concerns to Security immediately.
- Ensures adherence to grooming standards and maintains a professional appearance at all times.
- Provides support during busy periods and special events as required.
- Passes all relevant information to the next shift to ensure continuity of service.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent, with previous experience in hospitality, customer service, or a similar role in a hotel environment preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a professional appearance and the ability to provide courteous and efficient service to guests; additional language skills are an advantage.
- Physically fit, able to stand for extended periods, work flexible shifts, and demonstrate basic knowledge of hotel services, safety, and security procedures.
