Job Description
Under the general guidance of the Rooms Division Manager, the Front Office Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Front Office teams. The Front Office Manager will ensure seamless guest experiences, upholding brand standards, and will lead a team focused on delivering exceptional hospitality.
YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead and manage front office departments to ensure outstanding guest service and smooth day-to-day operations.
- Oversee scheduling, training, and performance management of the front office staff.
- Together with the Rooms Division Manager, collaborate with other departments to coordinate guest services and ensure efficient problem resolution process.
- Analyze front office metrics and support revenue management strategies.
- Monitor guest feedback and implement service improvement strategies.
- Ensure full compliance with health, safety, data protection and hotel policies and procedures.
- Drive team member engagement and team development through regular training and coaching.
- Mentor, coach and guide staff on working successfully in a team atmosphere.
- Ensure all necessary reports and forms are completed daily.
- Any other reasonable duties as assigned by the supervisor or manager.
- We recognize we are in the hospitality industry and that may require us to provide lateral service.
- We will on occasion call for each individual in the team to, on a routine basis perform various related tasks as needed in the spirit of providing exceptional guest service.
Qualifications
- Diploma in Tourism & Hospitality Management
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in a similar capacity
- Excellent reading, writing and oral proficiency in English language
- Ability to speak other languages especially Mandarin Language and basic understanding of local languages will be an advantage
- Good working knowledge of MS Excel, Word, & PowerPoint
