Job Description
We’re looking for an experienced and passionate Restaurant & Bar Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of Oak Room Restaurant and Bar including Conferencing and Events and In-room Dining.
This is a fixed six-month position in a hands-on leadership role for someone who loves being on the floor, connecting with guests and developing a high-performing team. You’ll take ownership of the restaurant and bar experience, driving service standards, team engagement and commercial performance.
What you’ll be doing:
- Lead the daily operations of Inspire, Oak Room Restaurant and Bar including Conferencing and Events and In-room Dining
- Coach and develop the Food & Beverage team
- Create memorable guest experiences and drive service excellence
- Manage guest feedback and confidently resolve service issues
- Oversee restaurant and events presentation, beverage service and compliance
- Manage stock, costs and daily operational requirements
- Work closely with Kitchen and wider hotel teams to deliver seamless service
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- Experience leading a restaurant, bar or Food & Beverage operation
- Strong leadership skills and a passion for developing people
- A genuine focus on guest experience and service excellence
- Strong knowledge of restaurant and beverage operations
- Commercial awareness and experience managing costs and budgets
- Excellent communication, organisation and problem-solving skills
- Current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and public holidays
